Who really sells the tickets?

Worldwide box office credited to every actor and director, ranked by the period you pick. Counted once per film. Every figure sourced and rated.

How this works

A film counts once towards a person’s total, no matter how many credits they have on it (director, writer and actor on the same title still adds up only once). A film’s money lands in the period its release date falls in. Box office coverage varies by person, so every row shows how many films the total is actually built from. Read the methodology for the full detail.

Only 1 person has 5 films with known box office in this period, so the rest are shown without a rank (D20) rather than ranked on a thin sample. Widen the window to rank more people.

Showing 6 of 30 people currently in the registry, those with a film released in this period. Each film’s gross to date counts in the period it first opened. We hold no re-release split for any film yet, so every film counts whole in the period it first opened. Read the methodology for how gross, coverage, hit rate and confidence tiers are calculated.
